There has been an acute shortage of food in the orang Asli community in Kampung Chang Sungai Gepai, Perak. According to the Star Online, Kampung Chang Sungai Gepai Tok Batin Dahil Yok Chopil, said food supply in his village was running low, as they dare not go out as we are worried for the safety of their family due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. The folk there are not asking for much, just basic groceries like rice, cooking oil, sugar and dry ingredients. The village has 177 families with about 650 villagers. Dahil had also said he has not received any update from the Orang Asli Development Department (Jakoa).
